Positioned high on top of the hill and looking straight down the Gunyulgup Valley towards Yallingup in the north is the Wills Domain Cellar Door and Restaurant. Positioned in one of the most idyllic locations in the South West, this landmark Winery underwent a transformation of epic proportions in the second half of 2009.

Renovation works to the old building transformed the existing 225m2 cottage style Cellar Door structure into a 900m2, 150 seat Restaurant with all new Kitchens and amenities, and Art Gallery.

Congruency between the new and old structure was achieved by the continuation of polished concrete floors throughout the new Restaurant and Art Gallery. Continuing the original themes of stone and timber has brought a seamless interaction between the old and new.

The use of translucent PVC roof sheeting and large stacking bi-fold doors gives a feeling of interaction with the outdoors whilst sitting in the indoor comfort of the restaurant.

Reaching 7m to the ceiling in the Art Gallery is one wall fully clad in ceramic sheeting, offset by the rougher textures of the opposing wall clad in petrified wood and bronze mirrors, bordered with American Oak. This American Oak is then carried through to the restaurant via spectacular parquetry floors in the Private Tasting Room and up into the timber trim of the Restaurant.
